The Polly Wyckoff-David Demarest Chapter
We are a volunteer women's service organization
dedicated to pursuing the objectives of the National Society Daughters
of the American Revolution (NSDAR) - Historic Preservation, Promotion of
Education, and Patriotic Endeavor. Our members are active in many DAR programs on
the local, state, and national level, including:
- Documenting and preserving genealogical and historic research for future generations.
- Special observance of soldiers' graves and historic sites.
- Assisting prospective members to process their papers.
- The DAR provides a free download of the
DAR Manual for Citizenship, for
distribution to the foreign-born who apply for citizenship, or for use in Americanism classes for the foreign-born.
Our members continually promote the awareness of our national historic
heritage. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Polly Wyckoff-David
